Grand Seiko SLGW003 - Pleasant, somehow

Grand Seiko watches are best known for their Zaratsu polishing and stunning dials. Last year, they introduced the Calibre 9SA4, elevating their movement design and finishing to a new level. The movement is both technically impressive and beautifully executed.

The Grand Seiko SLGW003, released in 2024, was the first timepiece to feature the 9SA4 movement.

Subtle details might go unnoticed, such as the plate around the balance spring, which is shaped like a mountain, and the click, designed in the form of a wagtail—a bird native to Morioka, near the Grand Seiko Studio.
